The insert features a 2.50 mm (0.098 in) cutting width, 2.14 mm maximum cutting depth, and a 0° radial rake FA-style chipbreaker geometry optimized for finishing operations on steel, stainless steel, and non-ferrous materials. Grade 1025 is a PVD TiAlN-coated cemented carbide substrate — Sandvik's general-purpose grade suited for ISO P, M, and N material groups — delivering wear resistance and edge integrity at the small cutting dimensions required by the MB platform.
