The Sandvik Coromant N123F2-0265-0002-GFH13A is a new, uncoated solid carbide grooving insert from the CoroCut 1-2 system, designed for precision parting and grooving operations on CNC lathes. The full ordering code N123F2-0265-0002-GFH13A decodes as follows: N123 = CoroCut 1-2 insert family; F2 = two-edge, front-mounted insert geometry; 0265 = 2.65 mm cutting width; 0002 = 0.2 mm nose radius; GFH13A = uncoated fine-grain carbide grade optimized for non-ferrous and heat-resistant superalloy (HRSA) finishing. Grade GFH13A is a submicron uncoated WC-Co cemented carbide ground to tight tolerances, delivering a razor-sharp cutting edge with very low friction — critical for achieving high surface finishes on aluminum, copper, brass, titanium, and Inconel-family alloys.
