This is a factory-new, sealed 10-piece box of Sandvik Coromant N331.1A-08 45 08M-KM3040 carbide milling inserts for the CoroMill 331 square shoulder and side-and-face milling system. The insert is a negative-geometry square (S-shape) with an 08 mm inscribed circle, 08 mm thickness, 45° approach geometry, and M-tolerance, featuring the KM chipbreaker geometry optimized for medium cutting conditions. Grade KM3040 is a PVD-coated cemented carbide in Sandvik's 3000 series, engineered for the K ISO material group (cast iron, hardened materials up to 245 HB), delivering a recommended cutting speed of 235 m/min (770 sfm) and feed per tooth of 0.16 mm (0.006 in). Made in the USA (MtrlID 5737969, Batch 2G10533956), these inserts are designed exclusively for Sandvik CoroMill 331 milling cutters and provide excellent wear resistance and edge security in cast iron and hardened workpiece applications.
