This Sandvik Coromant R300-0517E-PM insert (material ID 7100968, EDP 46612826) is a round carbide milling insert in grade 1130 for the CoroMill 300 cutter system. Grade 1130 is a PVD-coated carbide (TiAlN-type) grade. The box label lists it for ISO P steel (P2.1.Z.AN, 175 HB) at 0.08 mm fz and 250 m/min (820 sfm) vc, and for ISO H hardened steel (H1.3.Z.HA, 60 HRC) at 0.08 mm fz and 38 m/min (125 sfm) vc. The PM geometry is a medium chipbreaker, and the E designation is a honed round cutting edge. The inserts were made in the USA. This lot is new and sealed in the original Sandvik box of 10 inserts.
