The Sandvik Coromant R390-025C5-11M095 is a new CoroMill 390 square-shoulder indexable end mill designed for 90° shoulder milling operations. Decoded from the part number: R390 = CoroMill 390 platform, DC = 25 mm cutting diameter, C5 = Coromant Capto C5 coupling interface, 11 = compatible with 11 mm IC inserts (XOMX 11 / XPMT 11 series), M = metric, 095 = 95 mm overall assembly length (coupling face to cutting tip). The Capto C5 interface provides a polygon-taper self-centering connection for repeatable radial and axial accuracy, making this cutter suitable for machining centers and multi-task machines with Capto spindles. The body accepts two XOMX110308TR or equivalent 11 mm IC CoroMill 390 inserts at 90° entering angle, delivering true square shoulders in steel, stainless, cast iron, and non-ferrous materials. The body is manufactured in Sweden from alloy steel with a black oxide/nitride surface treatment for corrosion resistance, and internal coolant channels direct cutting fluid to the insert seats.
