Decoding the part number: RA216F = CoroMill 216F product family (ball-nose finishing); 16 = 16 mm insert diameter; 40 = 4.0 mm insert thickness; E = precision-ground tolerance class; L = left-hand cutting geometry with a positive rake chipbreaker; 1010 = Sandvik carbide grade, an uncoated (dark/black appearance) fine-grain cemented carbide substrate optimized for machining hardened steels and cast iron at moderate-to-high cutting speeds, offering excellent wear resistance and edge toughness.
