Sandvik TNMX160404-WF 1515 Carbide Turning Insert Pack of 10

This is a new box of 10 Sandvik Coromant T-Max P TNMX 16 04 04-WF (ANSI TNMX 331-WF) negative triangular turning inserts in grade 1515, shown with a gold-colored coating and a center clamping hole. The ISO code decodes to a 60° triangle (T) with 0° clearance (N), M tolerance class (M), a cylindrical hole with special design (X), 9.525 mm (3/8 in) inscribed circle, 4.76 mm (3/16 in) thickness and 0.4 mm (.016 in) nose radius, with the WF wiper geometry intended for finishing. The box label lists starting data of ap 0.8 mm (0.2-2.5 mm), fn 0.2 mm/rev (0.08-0.3 mm/rev) and vc 205 m/min (680 sfm) for steel P2.1.Z.AN at 175 HB, and vc 195 m/min (650 sfm) for stainless M1.0.Z.AQ at 200 HB. The inserts are made in Sweden and ship in the original Sandvik Coromant packaging, and fit holders with a negative 60° triangular insert pocket in the 16 mm (3/8 in IC) size.
