This is a new set of three (3) Schunk KM-WBL 100 soft top jaws designed for use with Schunk ROTA-S and compatible 100 mm (4 in) 3-jaw lathe chucks. The "KM" prefix designates the Schunk Kombi-Modul system, "WBL" indicates weiche Backen lang — German for "soft jaws long" — and "100" specifies the 100 mm chuck size. Manufactured from low-carbon steel (unhardened), these soft jaws feature a serrated (1.5 mm pitch) bolt-on interface on the base for secure master jaw engagement, with two mounting holes per jaw visible in the photos. The jaws arrive unmachined on the gripping face, allowing the user to bore or turn a custom profile to suit specific workpiece geometries — a standard practice for precision concentric workholding on CNC and manual lathes. The set ships factory-new with the Schunk logo and model designation KM-WBL 100 laser-marked on each jaw.
