Seal Fast 3040DA 316 SS 3in x 4in Type DA Cam & Groove Reducing Coupler

The Seal Fast 3040DA is a new Type DA cam and groove (camlock) reducing coupling manufactured from 316 stainless steel, as cast and stamped directly on the body. Type DA configuration combines a 4-inch male adapter (plug end) on the lower end with a 3-inch female coupler (socket end) on the upper end, allowing a reduction from a 4-inch hose or fitting to a 3-inch line in a single connection. 316 stainless steel construction (per the "316" cast marking) provides superior corrosion resistance compared to 304 SS, making this fitting suitable for use with mildly corrosive chemicals, fertilizers, petroleum products, water, and marine environments. The fitting complies with MIL-C-27487 / AS4050 cam and groove standards; the two stainless steel cam arms lock the male adapter into the female coupler with a quarter-turn action, creating a leak-tight seal against the internal EPDM gasket. Typical applications include agriculture, chemical transfer, food processing, petroleum handling, and general industrial fluid transfer where a size reduction between a 4-inch and 3-inch line is required.
