The Seal Fast HA1576 (catalog ref. 09-130, series 09) is a new cast brass reducing fire hose adapter designed to convert a 1-1/2 in Female NST/NH (National Standard Thread, per NFPA 1963) inlet to a 3/4 in Male GHT (Garden Hose Thread) outlet. The body is cast from lead-compliant brass, providing corrosion resistance and durability under firefighting and industrial water supply pressures. Two opposing lugs on the swivel flange allow hand-tightening or spanner-wrench engagement for a secure, leak-free connection. This adapter is commonly used to connect standard garden hose equipment, portable pumps, or fill stations to 1-1/2 in fire department hose connections, hydrant outlets, and standpipe discharge ports. A pre-installed EPDM rubber gasket is visible in the female NST end, ensuring a watertight seal without additional sealing compounds.
