Seco 170120.0-MEGA-64 12mm 4-Flute AlTiN Solid Carbide End Mill

This is a new Seco Tools 170120.0-MEGA-64 solid carbide end mill from the Jabro-Solid² JS554 / MEGA-64 series, a 4-flute square-end geometry designed for high-feed and general-purpose milling of steels, stainless steels, and cast iron. The tool carries a 12 mm cutting diameter, 12 mm cylindrical shank (D12), 75 mm overall length, and 12 mm flute/cutting length, all confirmed from the label (Ø12x12x75 D12). The MEGA-64 designation identifies this as part of Seco's optimized solid carbide platform with an AlTiN-based PVD coating (the dark gunmetal/black flute finish visible in the photos), which provides elevated hot hardness and oxidation resistance for dry or near-dry cutting at elevated speeds in hardened and difficult materials. The tool is made in the Netherlands (as labeled), features a right-hand cut/right-hand helix geometry with variable-helix/chipbreaker geometry characteristic of the MEGA-64 line, and is compatible with standard ER, Weldon, and hydraulic 12 mm bore toolholders. Item is new and unused in original Seco packaging.
