The Seco 930120R050-MEGA is a new, solid carbide corner radius end mill from Seco's Jabro-Solid² JS930 series, manufactured in the Netherlands and designed for high-performance finishing and semi-finishing of hardened steels, stainless steels, and titanium alloys. The tool carries a 12 mm cutting diameter, 0.5 mm corner radius, 18 mm flute length (cutting length), and 80 mm overall length on a 12 mm straight shank, encoded directly in the label designation Ø12×18×80 D12 R0.5. The JS930/MEGA series features an AlTiN-based (Seco's proprietary TiAlN-variant) MEGA coating optimized for dry and near-dry machining at elevated cutting speeds, with 5–6 flutes (confirmed as 5-flute from the photo's end-face geometry) providing high metal removal rates with superior surface finish in ISO P, M, and S materials. Compatible with ER collet chucks, hydraulic toolholders, and shrink-fit holders accepting a 12 mm shank; EDP 08112 is the Seco internal ordering reference.
