Seco CCMT120408-F2 TP200 CVD Carbide Turning Insert (10pc)

The Seco CCMT120408-F2 TP200 (EDP 82329) is a new, factory-sealed 10-piece box of 80° diamond (C-shape) carbide turning inserts in the ISO metric designation CCMT 12 04 08, equivalent to the inch designation CCMT 432. Decoding the ISO code: C = 80° rhombic shape, C = 7° clearance angle, M = medium tolerance (±0.05–0.15 mm on inscribed circle/thickness), T = with hole and top chipbreaker, 12 = 12.7 mm inscribed circle, 04 = 4.76 mm thickness, 08 = 0.8 mm nose radius; the F2 chipbreaker geometry is Seco's positive-rake finishing/medium chipbreaker optimized for light-to-medium depths of cut and smooth surface finishes. The TP200 grade is a CVD-coated (TiCN/Al₂O₃ multilayer) cemented carbide targeting ISO P and M material groups — confirmed by the package dot-matrix showing active ratings in P (P4) and M (M2) — with published cutting data of Vc 245 m/min (800 sf/min) in P and 195 m/min (640 sf/min) in M, ap up to 1.6 mm, and feed 0.26 mm/rev. These inserts are manufactured in Sweden and are designed for external and internal turning of steel, stainless steel, and cast iron on compatible SCLCR/SCLCL and SCCR/SCCL toolholders accepting CC** 12-size inserts.
