Decoded per ISO 1832: D = 55° diamond shape, N = 0° clearance (negative rake), M = ±0.08 mm / ±0.05 mm tolerance class, G = with hole and two-sided chipbreaker land, 15 = 15.875 mm inscribed circle (5/8 in), 06 = 6.35 mm thickness (1/4 in), 12 = 1.2 mm nose radius, MR3 = Seco's medium-roughing chipbreaker geometry optimized for steel roughing and interrupted cuts. CP500 is a CVD-coated cemented carbide grade with a TiCN/Al₂O₃ multilayer coating, targeting ISO P and M material groups — confirmed by the P/M dot indicators visible on the packaging label.
