This is a factory-new pack of 10 Seco RPKW1605M0T-6-MD20 round (R-style) carbide milling inserts in grade MP2501, modified by Jewell Tool (Seco part 2065004), made in Sweden. Decoding the ISO designation: R = round shape, P = 11° clearance angle, K = tolerance class, W = with hole and chip grooves on both faces, 16 = 16 mm inscribed circle diameter, 05 = 5.56 mm thickness, M0T = M-style medium chipbreaker with 0° wiper edge and top geometry, 6 = 6.0 mm corner radius (full round), MD20 = Seco-proprietary geometry modifier for the MD20 chipbreaker form. Grade MP2501 is a PVD-coated cemented carbide targeting ISO P (steel) applications, with the PVD TiAlN-based coating delivering improved edge strength and wear resistance at moderate-to-high cutting speeds. These inserts are designed for use in Seco R220.53 and compatible round-insert face and shoulder milling cutters, suited for roughing and semi-finishing of steel, stainless steel, and cast iron. The "Modified by Jewell Tool" overprint indicates a secondary edge preparation or geometry modification applied post-manufacture by Jewell Tool to the Seco base insert.
