This new Seco SCLCL-12-3 (EDP 6200560) is a left-hand external turning toolholder with a screw-on-top clamping system, made in India. The designation decodes as S (screw clamp), C (80 degree diamond insert shape), L (95 degree lead angle style), C (7 degree normal insert clearance), L (left hand), 12 (3/4 in square shank) and 3 (3/8 in inscribed circle insert). It takes C-shape 80 degree diamond inserts in the 3/8 in IC size, such as CCMT 32.5x types, and is used for external turning and facing on lathes. The holder has a black finish and comes with a Seco T15P-2 Torx flag key, as shown in the photos; the insert is not included.
