Seco SD523-0937-281-1000R7 15/16in 3xD Indexable Drill Body

This is a new Seco Tools SD523-0937-281-1000R7 Perfomax indexable insert drill body, manufactured in Sweden, designed for high-productivity drilling with replaceable carbide inserts rather than a brazed or solid carbide tip. The part number decodes as follows: SD523 = Perfomax drill series 523; 0937 = 0.937 in (15/16 in) cutting diameter; 281 = 2.81 in flute/cutting length (approximately 3xD depth of cut); 1000 = 1.000 in straight cylindrical shank diameter; R7 = right-hand cut, 7-series insert seat (accepts Seco SPGT/SPET format inserts sized for this body). The body features helical chip flutes, through-coolant capability via two internal coolant ports visible at the drill tip, and a straight shank with a flat for set-screw drive retention. Compatible with Seco Perfomax insert grades such as TP2500 and TP3000; the insert torx wrench (T08P-2) is included as shown.
