The Seco SNHQ120708TR4-M07 in grade MP2501 is a square (S), 0° normal clearance (N), high positive (H), screw-clamped (Q) carbide milling insert with a 12 mm inscribed circle, 07 mm thickness, 0.8 mm nose radius, and a TR4-M07 chipbreaker geometry engineered for medium milling applications. The MP2501 substrate is a PVD-coated cemented carbide grade optimized for general-purpose milling of steel (P), stainless steel (M), cast iron (K), and non-ferrous (N) materials, as confirmed by the P/M/K/N material application dots visible on the packaging label. The TR4-M07 chipbreaker features a 4-cutting-edge positive rake face design that reduces cutting forces and improves chip control in medium to heavy milling passes on compatible Seco square-insert milling bodies. This factory-sealed box of 10 new inserts (Seco lot 03272764, made in India, catalog ref. 6009828 412) shows no signs of use or damage.
