The Shaviv 154-00045 is a new, premium-grade deburring tool kit (EDP 29272) manufactured in Israel, featuring the Mango-series aluminum 'A' handle with a knurled brass-colored barrel and ergonomic domed cap for controlled hand pressure. The kit includes two interchangeable black-anodized extension shafts of differing lengths and nine TiN (Titanium Nitride)-coated HSS deburring blades in multiple profiles — including B-type curved blades for external/internal edge work and smaller E-type blades for fine detail deburring — identifiable by their gold TiN coating versus the uncoated silver-finished blades also included. TiN coating extends blade edge life compared to uncoated HSS by increasing surface hardness and reducing friction, making these blades suitable for deburring aluminum, steel, brass, and plastics on machined parts, castings, and sheet metal edges. The quick-change blade holder accepts all standard Shaviv B and E series blades, and the kit stores in a molded red plastic case with foam insert and a blade identification reference card on the lid.
