The Sloan EBV-500-A is a new, battery-operated electronic flushvalve operator from the Optima Plus series, designed as a single-flush side-mount unit for retrofitting or replacing standard Sloan Royal and Regal flushvalve bodies in commercial restroom applications. The unit operates at 6 VDC nominal and uses an infrared proximity sensor — indicated by the three sensor windows on the top cap — to trigger automatic, hands-free flushing without requiring AC hardwiring. The chrome-plate finish body houses a solenoid actuator that interfaces directly with the flushvalve via the threaded bottom connection and plunger rod visible in the photos, with a cardboard shipping spacer ('Remove Before Use') protecting the actuator pin during transit.
