The Sperian 916103 is an unused 30-minute low-pressure SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus) air cylinder rated at 2216 PSIG service pressure, constructed in 2008 with a hoop-wrapped fiberglass composite over an aluminum liner — a design that wraps composite reinforcement around the cylinder body (hoop) rather than fully wrapping the end caps, resulting in a lighter weight than all-aluminum cylinders at this pressure rating. The cylinder is manufactured by Luxfer (Luxfer part number L45N-1 visible on label) and branded by Sperian, which was a Honeywell Safety Products brand; the label confirms DOT/TC-3HWM approval for compressed air (breathing air) service only, filled to 2216 PSIG maximum.
