The SPI 10-720-1 is a new mechanical three-point inside micrometer set covering a measurement range of 0.500 to 0.800 inches, read directly from the box label and visible thimble graduations in the photos. The set includes two micrometer heads (covering separate sub-ranges within the 0.500–0.800 in span), one extension rod for increased reach, a calibration setting ring gauge (marked 0.56004" visible in photo), two spanner wrenches for head adjustment, a screwdriver, and a fitted hardwood storage case with foam cutouts. Three-point (trilock/Bowers-style) inside micrometers contact the bore at 120° intervals for self-centering and highly repeatable bore measurement without a reference surface, making this set well suited for precision bore gauging on engine cylinders, hydraulic bores, and machined housings.
