The SPI 15-145-6 is a new, handheld digital ultrasonic thickness gauge designed for non-destructive testing (NDT) of material wall thickness from a single accessible side, suitable for metals, plastics, ceramics, glass, and other acoustically conductive materials. The shipping label visible in the photos confirms the measurement range as 0.04–8 in (approximately 1–200 mm) with a display resolution of 0.1 mm (0.001 in) and an accuracy of ±0.1 mm, making it well-suited for corrosion inspection, pipe wall measurement, hull thickness checks, and quality control in fabrication environments. The gauge features a large LCD display, nine-button keypad with dedicated SCAN, PRB CAL (probe calibration), velocity (V), memory (M), UNIT/RES, and ALRM functions, and is powered by 2 × 1.5 V AA batteries as confirmed on the rear label. The complete kit ships in a molded hard carry case and includes the transducer probe with lemo-style coaxial cable and a bottle of SPI ultrasonic couplant gel (Part No. 20-23); the instrument carries CE certification as shown on the rear label.
