The SPI 30-610-0 (Z1000) "Super Wee" Mini V-Block Set is a new, precision matched pair of miniature hardened steel V-blocks designed for holding small-diameter cylindrical workpieces for inspection, layout, and light machining setups. Each block features a 90° V-groove angle with a 9/32 in (approx. 7 mm) maximum workpiece capacity, making them suited for instrument makers, watchmakers, jewelers, and quality control technicians working with very small shafts, pins, and round stock. The complete kit includes 2 matched Super Wee V-blocks with integral clamp screws, 5 upper prism/bridge inserts of varying slot widths (visible in photos as U-shaped and stepped prism pieces) for accommodating different workpiece diameters, and a sealed vial of reference balls or small pins, all organized in a foam-lined hard plastic protective case. The blocks are black-oxide finished hardened steel, lapped and matched as a pair to ensure co-planar V-groove alignment for accurate roundness and runout inspection. This set ships new-in-box as originally supplied by SPI (Swiss Precision Instruments).
