The SPI 54-252-2 is a new granite comparator gage stand designed for holding dial indicators, test indicators, and comparator gages in precision metrology and inspection setups. The base is a black granite surface plate slab measuring 10 in (L) x 6 in (W) x 2 in (H), providing a stable, vibration-dampening foundation that is dimensionally confirmed by the label visible in the photos reading "DCS/6N/10-6." The articulated arm assembly features a knurled-collar post clamp, a fine-positioning screw column approximately 8 in tall, and a multi-axis articulating arm head with locking knobs that allows the indicator holder to be positioned at virtually any angle and reach. The post accepts standard 3/8 in dovetail or clamp-style indicator holders typical of this class of stand.
