The SPI 805-4025 is a new magnetic digital Z-axis preset tool setter with a 2-inch reference height and a resolution of 0.01mm / 0.0005 inch, as confirmed directly from the label on the case. The unit features an integrated digital LCD display with mm/inch conversion and a ZERO function, two blue push-button controls, and a strong permanent magnet base that locates and holds the setter to the machine table or vise during tool-length presetting operations on CNC machining centers and milling machines. The cylindrical body is constructed with an aluminum housing and a hardened contact surface on the top, and the unit ships in a molded blue plastic protective case with foam insert and a battery.
