The SPI 91-300-4 is a new, single adjustable V-block with clamps, manufactured by Swiss Precision Instruments (SPI) and made in India as confirmed by the box label. The V-block features a precision-ground cast iron or hardened steel body mounted on a flat base, with two cross-screw clamp arms that apply adjustable clamping pressure to secure cylindrical workpieces in the 90° V-groove; an integrated graduated dial wheel (visible in photos, graduated at minimum through 30°) allows the upper V-block body to tilt to a set angle for angled work-holding setups on surface plates, CMM tables, and milling machine setups. Five relief bores are machined into the base face (visible in photo 3), reducing weight and providing clamping slot clearance. This tool is used for layout, inspection, and light machining operations requiring precise, repeatable cylindrical workpiece location on a reference surface.
