Starrett 1175Z .375-6 in Range Dial Indicator Groove Gage

The Starrett 1175Z is a new, American-made dial indicator groove gage designed for measuring internal groove widths and diameters in the range of 0.375 in to 6 in, as confirmed by the box label and Starrett's published specifications (EDP 53173). The gage features a pistol-grip handle for one-hand operation, a lever-actuated measuring head that opens and closes the contact anvils, and a built-in No. 575 dial indicator graduated in 0.0005 in increments reading 0–0–30 (±0.030 in range), allowing direct comparative measurement without the need for a separate indicator. The complete set ships in a fitted hardwood storage case and includes interchangeable anvil sets and spacers to cover the full measurement range, making it suited for quality inspection of O-ring grooves, snap-ring grooves, and internal recesses on machined parts. Starrett manufactures this gage in the United States to tight tolerances consistent with their metrology-grade tool standards.
