Starrett 689-2Z 0.160–0.360 in 100° Dial Countersink Gage

The Starrett 689-2Z is a new, USA-made dial-type countersink gage designed to measure the diameter of 100° countersinks and chamfers directly in 0.002 in increments, covering a range of 0.160–0.360 in. The hardened tool steel conical gaging surface seats into the countersink; pressing the top-mounted indicator button locks the reading for repeatable, hands-free inspection — no arithmetic or feeler gauges required. The bezel-adjustable white-face dial indicator (graduated 0.002 in per division) is paired with a foam-gripped, knurled-end steel handle for secure one-hand operation, and the unit ships complete with a "Set Master" setting ring, inspection certificate, instructions, and a fitted metal storage case (EDP 63707). Suitable for production inspection of 100° flat-head fastener countersinks in aerospace, sheet-metal, and precision machining environments where consistent seating diameter verification is required.
