The Starrett 711LPSZ is a new Last Word dial test indicator set built around the No. 711 lever-type indicator, featuring a balanced 0-15-0 graduation scale with 0.0005 in. graduation increments and a 0.030 in. total range. The indicator reads in the Series 711 format with a 0.120 in. carbide-tipped ball contact point, a dovetail-style swivel clamp for angular positioning, and a knurled locking collar on the shank for secure mounting in standard 3/8 in. indicator holders or dovetail clamps. The set includes the 711 indicator, a wrench for contact point removal, a spare contact point vial, and all components are housed in a fitted red leatherette-covered metal case with foam cutouts. Made in the USA with US and global content as labeled on the retail box; this kit is well-suited for part alignment, runout inspection, and surface comparison on manual mills, lathes, and surface plates.
