The Starrett EC799A-6/150 is a new electronic digital caliper from Starrett's 799 series, offering a 6 in / 150 mm measurement range with a resolution of 0.0005 in / 0.01 mm and an accuracy of ±0.001 in / ±0.02 mm. The beam and jaws are constructed of hardened stainless steel, and the caliper performs four measurement types: outside diameter, inside diameter, depth, and step measurements. The LCD display features inch/millimeter conversion via a single button, and a zero/reset function allows the user to establish a reference point anywhere in the range. The unit is powered by a single CR2032 3V lithium coin cell battery (included) and ships new in a fitted red leatherette metal storage case with foam cutout insert and protective pouch.
