The Starrett SR160 is a new, handheld surface roughness tester from the SR Series, confirmed by the original Starrett-branded outer carton labeled 'Surface Roughness Tester SR160' with EDP 73584. The unit features a color touchscreen display showing a real-time roughness profile graph along with primary roughness parameters Ra and Rz readouts in microinches (µin) and micrometers (µm), as visible on the powered screen in the photos. The SR160 ships with a diamond-tipped stylus (shown separately in photos), a multi-country AC adapter kit with interchangeable plugs (US, EU, UK, and one additional adapter visible in the accessory box), and a padded carry case with shoulder strap and belt loop.
