Starrett Webber 1 in Rectangular Steel Gage Block

This Starrett Webber gage block is a 1 in nominal length precision reference standard, etched with the Webber and Starrett marks and the 1 IN size on the measuring face. It is a rectangular block with ground, lapped flat faces, used to calibrate and set micrometers, calipers, indicators and height gages, to check fixtures, and as a length standard for inspection or setup work, and it can be wrung together with other blocks to build up stack heights. The item is new, shown without a case or certificate, and the photos show it as the single block only.
