The Superior Products N-85 is a new, USA-made brass CGA-347 hex nut designed for use in compressed gas cylinder connections conforming to CGA standards 346 (Air, 2216 psig) and CGA 347 (Air, 3000 psig). The internal thread specification is .830"-14 NGO-RH-INT (National Gas Outlet, right-hand, internal), which is the standard thread form for CGA-347 oxygen-service-compatible connections; each nut is factory-cleaned for oxygen service per the label warnings. Constructed from free-machining brass with a hexagonal body for wrench engagement, the nut is used to secure high-pressure gas hose assemblies, regulators, and fittings to CGA-346/347 cylinder valves in industrial, medical, and welding gas distribution systems.
