The TECO-Westinghouse NP0032 is a new MAX-PE™ NEMA Premium Efficiency severe-duty AC induction motor rated 3 HP (2.2 kW), designed for continuous-duty industrial applications. Per the nameplate read directly from the photos, it operates at 230/460V (60 Hz) or 190/380V (50 Hz), draws 7.06/3.53A at 60 Hz, runs at 3490 RPM on a 4-pole Design B configuration, and is built on a NEMA 182T rigid foot-mount frame with a TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) enclosure rated for 40°C ambient. The motor carries Class F insulation, a 1.15 service factor (60 Hz), nominal efficiency of 88.5% (60 Hz) meeting NEMA Premium standards, and is also rated for PWM VFD converter-supply duty with a minimum switching frequency of 3 kHz — making it suitable for variable-speed drive applications.
