Tempco TSP02081 2VXT5 1.5in NPT 4500W Copper Immersion Heater

The Tempco TSP02081 (Grainger item 2VXT5) is a new screw-plug immersion heater featuring a copper sheath heating element assembly and a 1-1/2 in. NPT threaded plug for direct installation into a tank or vessel fitting. The red steel head enclosure houses an adjustable thermostat with a manual reset high-limit safety cutout, visible as the black dial and reset button on the end cap in the photos. This heater is rated at 4,500 watts and designed for water heating applications in storage tanks, process tanks, and similar low-pressure water systems. The copper sheath construction makes it suited for clean water service, and the U-shaped hairpin element configuration shown in the product image provides efficient heat transfer across the immersed length.
