The Thomas & Betts Steel City LT9400-SC is a new 4-inch, 90-degree liquidtight flexible metal conduit (LFMC) connector constructed of malleable iron with a zinc-plated finish. The conduit entry end features a compression-style nut (torque spec: 1,600 lbs-in) that grips LFMC mechanically, while the hub end is threaded 4–8 NPT for connection to an enclosure or junction box knockout. The red sealing ring visible at the hub end provides a watertight seal against the enclosure surface, and the integral insulated throat protects wire insulation from abrasion at the point of entry. UL Listed for liquidtight connectors at 90°, this fitting is suited for industrial machinery, HVAC equipment, and wet-location wiring applications where flexible conduit must transition into a rigid enclosure at a right angle; a qualified electrician is required for installation per the box label.
