Titan USA TC73952 1/2in 4FL .045R AlTiN Carbide Corner Radius End Mill

This is a new Titan USA TC73952 solid carbide corner radius end mill, 1/2 in diameter, 4-flute, square end with a .045 in corner radius, manufactured from submicron micrograin carbide substrate and coated with AlTiN (Aluminum Titanium Nitride) for elevated heat resistance and extended tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. The tool features a 5/8 in length of cut (LOC) and a 2-1/2 in overall length (OAL), with a 1/2 in straight shank compatible with standard ER32, ER40, or equivalent collet chucks and milling tool holders. Made in the USA, this end mill is suited for profiling, slotting, and peripheral milling in steels, stainless steels, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys where the corner radius reduces stress concentration and improves edge durability versus a sharp-corner end mill. The AlTiN coating provides a hardness exceeding 3000 HV and oxidation resistance up to approximately 1600°F, enabling higher cutting speeds and dry or near-dry machining in demanding applications.
