The Titan USA TE80563 is a new 5/8-11 UNC hex rethreading die manufactured in the USA from carbon steel with a black oxide finish. The hexagonal body measures 1-1/4 inch across flats and 5/8 inch thick, sized for use with a standard open-end or box wrench rather than a die stock, making it the go-to tool for chasing and restoring damaged or corroded external threads in the field. Three fluted cutting relief pockets provide chip clearance during rethreading passes on bolts, studs, and threaded rod in mild steel, aluminum, and similar materials.
