The Triplett 3550 SoniChek PRO is a new professional-grade digital sound level meter measuring 30 dB to 130 dB with an accuracy of ±1.5 dB (referenced at 94 dB, 1 kHz), designed and certified to IEC 651 Type 2 and ANSI S1.4 Type 2 standards. The meter features a large backlit LCD display with simultaneous digital and analog bar-graph readout, A/C frequency weighting selection, fast/slow response time switching, and a Max hold function. It ships complete with four AA batteries, a windscreen-equipped microphone, an output cable for data recording, and a molded hard-shell zip carry case. Typical applications include occupational noise compliance surveys, HVAC commissioning, equipment noise assessments, and environmental sound monitoring where Type 2 accuracy is required.
