Tungaloy CNMG190612-SH AH630 Carbide Turning Insert

The Tungaloy CNMG190612-SH AH630 is a new, factory-sealed box of 10 indexable carbide turning inserts in the 80° diamond (C) shape with 0° clearance angle (N), medium tolerance (M), and a double-sided chipbreaker geometry (G). Per the ISO designation, the insert measures 19.05 mm (3/4 in) IC, 6.35 mm thick, with a 1.2 mm nose radius and the SH chipbreaker — a positive-rake, multi-directional geometry engineered for medium turning of stainless steel (ISO M). The AH630 grade is a PVD TiAlN-based coated cemented carbide developed by Tungaloy specifically for stainless steel and heat-resistant alloys; it delivers a fine-grain substrate with high edge toughness combined with a wear-resistant PVD coating to suppress built-up edge and thermal cracking at cutting speeds of 90–190 m/min (300–620 SFM) and feeds of 0.25–0.6 mm/rev (0.010–0.024 IPR). These inserts are compatible with PCLNR/L, DCLNR/L, and other C-style 90° toolholders accepting 19.05 mm IC CNMG inserts; made in Japan and sold in the original sealed 10-piece tray.
