Tungaloy DNMG150408-CF T5105 55° Diamond Carbide Turning Insert 10pc

The Tungaloy DNMG150408-CF T5105 (also designated DNMG 432 CF T5105) is a 55° diamond-shaped, negative-rake carbide turning insert from Tungaloy's T5105 grade, manufactured in Japan. ISO designation decodes as follows: D = 55° diamond shape, N = 0° clearance angle (negative), M = ±0.08 mm / ±0.20 mm tolerance class, G = with hole and chipbreaker, 15 = 15.875 mm inscribed circle, 04 = 4.76 mm thickness, 08 = 0.8 mm nose radius, CF = Tungaloy's CF chipbreaker geometry optimized for cast iron finishing and semi-finishing. The T5105 grade is a CVD-coated cemented carbide (TiCN/Al2O3 multilayer) in ISO application range K (cast iron), with recommended cutting speeds of 180–480 m/min (591–1575 sfm) and feed rates of 0.1–0.35 mm/t (0.004–0.014 ipt) as printed on the factory label. The characteristic gold/bronze PVD/CVD coating is visible in the photos; the CF chipbreaker features aggressive chip-deflecting geometry suited to stable, low-vibration cast iron turning on negative toolholders accepting DNMG 432 inserts (e.g., PSBNR/L, PDNNR/L style holders). This is a new, factory-sealed box of 10 inserts.
