The Tungaloy TCS27-200-100 AH725 is a new, 4-cornered Tetra Force Cut carbide milling insert designed for high-efficiency cutting in steel, stainless steel, and cast iron. The MPN encodes a 27° lead angle, 2.00 mm cutting width, and 1.00 mm depth-of-cut capability; its distinctive 4-pointed star geometry with radial chip-groove pattern promotes aggressive chip splitting and reduced cutting forces in face and shoulder milling operations. Grade AH725 is a PVD TiAlN-based coated cemented carbide in Tungaloy's AH series, engineered for thermal resistance and wear resistance across ISO P (steel), M (stainless), and K (cast iron) workpiece material groups. Recommended cutting speeds per the factory label are Vc 70–180 m/min (230–590 sfm) for steel, Vc 50–180 m/min (160–590 sfm) for stainless, and Vc 110–175 m/min (360–570 sfm) for cast iron; the insert is made in Israel and carries Tungaloy part number 6991467. Sold as a factory-sealed pack of 5 inserts.
