UltraTech 0656 Large Ultra-Burp-Free w/ Lid 22x11.5in Drum Funnel

The UltraTech International 0656 Ultra-Burp-Free Funnel (Large) is a new, USA-made polyethylene drum funnel engineered to eliminate vapor "burping" during liquid transfer into standard 55-gallon drums. The funnel body is black high-density polyethylene (HDPE) measuring approximately 22 in diameter × 11.5 in tall, and features a hinged, lockable red polyethylene cover that seals the basin when not in use to contain vapors and prevent spills. A central brass-threaded drain fitting (visible in photos) routes fluid down into the drum bung opening, and the ribbed/gusseted underside geometry of the bowl stiffens the large-diameter shell while the "burp-free" vented fitting allows air to escape the drum as liquid flows in, preventing back-pressure blowback. The funnel is designed for use with flammable and hazardous liquids in compliance with EPA and OSHA waste-accumulation requirements; note that this model (0656) does not include a flame arrester screen, so the optional flame arrester (UltraTech p/n 0657) must be added separately if required for flammable liquids per local fire codes. Compatible with standard 2-in NPT drum bung openings on 55-gallon open-head and closed-head drums.
