This Value Collection 06499446 is an electronic height preset gauge (tool setter) with a 2.000 in (50 mm) overall height and a 1.0 in (25.4 mm) body diameter. It is placed on the machine table under the spindle, and when the tool in the spindle touches the top plunger of the gauge, an internal LED lamp illuminates to indicate contact for setting tool height. Height tolerance is +/-0.0002 in (+/-0.0006 mm per the printed sheet), and the top contact pin is 0.31 in (7.9 mm) in diameter. It uses a #338 lamp and an A76 battery and was made in the USA; the stainless-finish body has two cross-drilled side holes. This item is new and includes its instruction sheet in the original wrapped packaging.
