This Van Keuren V701256 is a set of three calibrated thread measuring wires for 60 degree metric threads with a 2.0 mm pitch. Each wire has a labeled size of 1.1544 mm and a "C" constant of 1.7313 mm, and the pitch diameter is calculated as the measurement over wires minus the "C" constant. The three-wire method is used with a micrometer to determine the pitch diameter of external threads. The wires have a bright metal finish with rounded ends, and this set is new.
