Each gage pin features Vermont Gage's Black Guard™ corrosion-resistant coating, which provides protection against rust while maintaining the close tolerances required for go/no-go hole inspection in production and inspection environments. The set is calibrated and traceable to NIST standards, with individual Certification of Accuracy documentation included (visible in the lid of the case), confirming Class ZZ tolerance compliance per ANSI/ASME B89.1.5.
