Viking Drill & Tool EDP# 05020 is a pack of 12 new, Size #25 (0.1495 in) jobber-length high-speed steel twist drills finished in heavy-duty black oxide. These are union-made in the USA and conform to standard jobber-length dimensions: a flute length of approximately 2-1/8 in and overall length of approximately 3-5/8 in, with a 118° conventional split-point geometry suited for general-purpose drilling in steel, cast iron, aluminum, brass, and most non-ferrous metals. The black oxide finish provides mild corrosion resistance, reduces friction during chip evacuation, and improves cutting fluid retention compared to bright-finish drills. The round shank is compatible with standard 3-jaw drill chucks on drill presses, CNC machining centers, and hand drills. Recommended for production-floor and maintenance drilling applications where a consistent, economical supply of a single wire-gauge size is required.
