Walter CNMG190616-RP5 WPP20S is a new, factory-sealed box of 10 indexable carbide turning inserts in Walter's Tiger-tec Silver CVD coating platform, grade WPP20S, optimized for machining steel (ISO P) in the medium-to-rough cutting range. The CNMG ISO designation specifies an 80° diamond (rhombic) shape, 0° clearance angle (N), medium tolerance (M), with a central clamping hole and chipbreaker geometry (G); the 190616 suffix decodes to 19.05 mm inscribed circle, 6.35 mm thickness, and 1.6 mm nose radius. The RP5 chipbreaker is a robust positive geometry designed for heavy interrupted cuts and variable depths of cut in steel components, providing excellent chip control and edge security under demanding conditions. These inserts are compatible with CNMG-style negative toolholders in the 190616 (CNMG 644 inch equivalent) pocket size, such as Walter's MCLNR/L, DCLNR/L, and PCLNR/L turning toolholder families.
