This Walter DCMT070204-MM4 turning insert in grade WMP20S has a Tiger-tec Silver coating on a carbide substrate. It is a 55 degree diamond (D shape) positive insert with a 7 degree clearance angle, M-class tolerance, a single-sided MM4 chipbreaker and a countersunk center hole for screw clamping. It has a 6.35 mm (1/4 in) inscribed circle, 2.38 mm thickness and 0.4 mm nose radius, and is also designated DCMT21.51-MM4 in ANSI. The box label rates the grade for ISO P steel at 110-180 m/min, ISO M stainless at 150-240 m/min and ISO S heat-resistant alloys at 30-60 m/min, with a feed of 0.08-0.20 mm/rev and a depth of cut of 0.4-2.0 mm. It is made in Germany for finishing to medium turning. This item is new, and the box shown holds 10 inserts.
